PDS CAMF 2025 RTK agricultural vehicle terminals

PDS Technology will exhibit at the 2025 China International Agricultural Machinery Fair in Wuhan from October 26 to 28. The team will be at booth G1011 with vehicle-mounted computers and RTK-ready terminals for agricultural machinery projects.

CAMF is a useful meeting place for tractor manufacturers, auto-steering developers, agricultural equipment dealers, and system integrators. These companies may use different software and steering hardware, but they often face the same question: how can the in-cab terminal remain clear, stable, and practical after it leaves the demonstration table and begins a full season of field work?

Four screen sizes for different tractor cabs

PDS plans to show 7-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch vehicle-computer platforms at booth G1011. The range is not simply a choice between small and large screens.

A 7-inch unit can suit a compact cab or a simple guidance interface. An 8-inch screen offers more room without occupying much of the driver's view. The 10-inch and 12-inch platforms are more comfortable when the application combines auto-steering, implement status, field information, and camera images. Before choosing, an integrator still needs to check the mount, cable space, viewing distance, and the controls already installed around the driver.

High-brightness IPS displays help operators read guidance information outdoors. Rugged protection is also important because agricultural terminals work around dust, vibration, changing temperatures, and long operating shifts. The product shown for a project should be reviewed as a complete configuration, since protection level, interfaces, operating system, and positioning hardware can vary by model and customization scope.

RTK positioning has to work with the rest of the machine

Centimeter-level RTK positioning supports repeatable field passes for seeding, spraying, harvesting, and other precision operations. Yet the GNSS receiver is only one part of an auto-steering system. The terminal must display the guidance line, receive correction information, process position and motion data, and communicate with the steering controller.

At CAMF 2025, PDS will discuss how its vehicle terminals fit into that larger architecture. Available project options include RTK positioning support, dual CAN communication, RS interfaces, wireless connectivity, and camera integration. The exact combination should follow the controller protocol and the software used by the auto-steering provider.

This is why a short requirement such as "10-inch RTK tablet" is rarely enough for sample preparation. The engineering team also needs the tractor type, correction method, CAN or serial documentation, camera plan, application platform, mounting position, and destination market. When those details arrive early, cable and software questions can be handled before field testing.

OEM and ODM discussions at booth G1011

Agricultural system companies do not all want the same finished device. Some need a standard PDS terminal with their application installed. Others require a private-label product, different connectors, regional 4G bands, a revised cable harness, an RTK module option, or a dedicated enclosure and mount.

PDS supports OEM and ODM development for rugged vehicle computers and agricultural positioning terminals. The work can cover hardware, firmware, interfaces, communication modules, software functions, appearance, branding, installation accessories, and project-specific testing. Visitors with an early concept are welcome, but a drawing, protocol file, or current sample makes the discussion more concrete.

What to bring to the meeting

If you are developing an auto-steering or precision-agriculture product, bring a short description of the field operation and the tractor models involved. Add the desired screen size, Android or Linux preference, RTK correction source, steering controller, interfaces, camera requirements, annual quantity, and target sample date.

PDS can use that information to compare the 7-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch platforms and identify where customization may be necessary. It also helps the buyer avoid selecting a screen first and discovering later that the connectors, application, or mounting arrangement do not fit.

Visit PDS at CAMF 2025

Event: 2025 China International Agricultural Machinery Fair

Date: October 26–28, 2025

Venue: Wuhan International Expo Centre, Wuhan, China

Booth: G1011

For CAMF 2025 visitors, the booth discussion can begin with a current machine, controller, or software requirement. PDS will use the exhibition to meet agricultural machinery companies and discuss practical vehicle-terminal integration for guidance, RTK auto-steering, implement monitoring, and other smart-farming applications. Visitors can review the hardware at the booth and speak directly with the team about standard products or a customized program.

Those unable to attend can view the PDS precision-agriculture and agricultural auto-steering solutions online, then send project requirements through the contact page for a configuration review.
